Athésia #AthesiaMusic Montreal (Canada) / Sydney (Austral Athésia was born in Montreal from Haitian parents. Debuting at age 14 singing in musicals, contests and swiftly becoming national representative for the country’s entertainment industry, Athésia’s raw talent was undeniable. College saw the songstress pursue studies in Classical music as well equipping herself with the skills to become a powerhouse contemporary artists by studying Communications through to university. One year later, she discovered the electronic music scene and freestyle singing where she started to collaborate with numerous DJs from Montreal’s underground scene. The McGill’s Conservatory of Music saw the artist complete her creative development, studying vocal Jazz. Her academic and professional experiences helped her launch her very own record label and entertainment production company. The undertaking saw her develop into a global sensation, performing in Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Haiti and Asia with her band Athésia & The Gentlemen. Singer/songwriter and composer Athésia sings in French, English, Portuguese and Creole.
