branqueeno is a NYC based DJ, producer, event organizer, and mentor. Her artistry is deeply inspired by the foundations of house music’s culture in Chicago and New York City.

Falling in love with the art of DJing in 2019, Chenice became a talented selector by losing herself in hours of music digging and mixing. Her mixes are a synthesis of sonic cohesion, evolution, and storytelling. Always infused with an old school touch, she aims to bring the story and legacy of house music’s origins to modern dance floors.

She quickly gained a reputation as a reliable and versatile selector, earning her repeated bookings with established New York promoters like Gray Area and venues like Elsewhere, giving her opportunities to play at the most iconic venues and support industry legends and modern heavyweights alike.

As a promoter and event organizer with Sisters in Sound, her work centers on creating platforms for women and marginalized communities: emphasizing performance opportunities, mentorship, knowledge sharing, skill development, and meaningful connection.

An emerging producer, her first official releases dropped in 2025, with the latest on Sparkle Motion Recordings. Now evolving as a solo producer, her latest productions mirror her style as a selector: a fusion of classic and modern house.
