Brett Abramson, known behind the decks as Numinous, has spent more than 25 years shaping dance floors with a signature sound that moves effortlessly from groovy tech to soulful downtempo. His sets are a balance of deep musicality and kinetic energy — crafted to push creative boundaries while keeping crowds locked in from the first beat to the last.
A longtime force in the underground, Brett has also left his mark on the business side of the industry. He owned and managed the Atlanta branch of the world-renowned Satellite Records and helmed influential imprints Blueprint Recordings and Lucid Recordings — platforms that helped champion forward-thinking electronic music.
Numinous’ original productions have become staples in the crates of global tastemakers including Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, and Kimball Collins — a testament to the depth and staying power of his studio work. His releases have appeared on respected international labels such as Black Hole/Fris, Distinctive, EQ Grey, Lobotomy, and Music Is Freedom.
On stage, he has shared lineups with an eclectic range of world-class talent including Damian Lazarus, Robert Miles, Cypress Hill, Darude, Gabriel & Dresden, Perry Farrell, Timo Maas, Josh Wink, Junkie XL, James Zabiela, and Dave Seaman.
