[Concept] 100. MARKMAKER by Dotishtale OST published on 2024-04-17T14:47:13Z A conceptual final battle theme for Dotishtale. I hope you enjoy. It follows the idea of remixing the creator's earlier work as an ultimate boss theme, similar to the original MEGALOVANIA. In this particular case, I chose Markmaker (https://soundcloud.com/rpretribution-ii/battle) for a few reasons: 1. It's an epic battle theme from years ago. 2. It has relation to Dotishtale, as it's named after one of the protagonist's spells. 3. It's cool. Additionally, I was inspired by @casserole12345's remix of Black (https://soundcloud.com/ss_st/100-black), as well as @a-masked-menagerie's remix of MEGALOVANIA (https://soundcloud.com/a-masked-menagerie/megalovania). The sketch in the thumbnail is by me. I'm sort-of proud of it. Genre Rock Comment by Trevor Ramsey in my mind I kinda love this idea of the final boss of this being effectively hyper offense versus defense. The fixation on offense to the point that the song is even named after the one spell you have that probably makes the fight winnable, Markmaker. A spell that presumably decreases enemy defense to the degree to allow you to keep actually making progress in the fight.
