SEIRYŪ aka. meta Kowloon Born and raised in London, music has served as a consistent undercurrent in SEIRYŪ's life. In spite of his exposure to traditionally more UK-centric rave sounds, SEIRYŪ found an initial focus in playing psychedelic trance and downtempo. However, an introduction to the refined elements of hypnotic techno ushered in a new personal musical phase. A torrent of influences led SEIRYŪ on a meandering path of increasingly expansive and ethereal techno and trance, which has since morphed into a penchant for faster but sonically more warped and stripped-back sounds. SEIRYŪ's characteristically narrative-driven mixing emphasises the emotional and textural ebb and flow of an entire journey whilst also exploring the subtleties and imperfections that lurk within.
