Masio Max Colosimo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Born in 1989, Max Colosimo grows amidst guitars and pianos thanks to the musical passion of his parents. During his youth approaches the study of piano and keyboard, and then the guitar with which he always tries to compose new symphonies mixing classical music and Latin with electronics. At the age of 18 years the turning point: he’s first exposed to the American and Berlin underground sounds, developing a sentimental feeling with the Deep House, House and Techno harmonies. He then starts to produce showing immediately a propensity to melodic and spiritual sounds, without forgetting the typical rhythms that characterize House music, all combined with mathematical rules due to his academic studies and what he has learned from the piano. To complement his growth in 2011 he seeks to take the advice gleaned from well established producers such as Daso, Martin Beume and especially Martin Patiño, from whom he studies closely the techniques in his studio in Berlin. His training continues in 2012, when he begins playing in some clubs in the north east of Italy, such as the Cube club, sharing the console with artists like Dan Andrei and Franklin de Costa, the Mandracchio club in Trieste with guests Matt Star, Marcelo Tag, Rills, Daso and Agent! and an appearance at the ‘Somewhere in the Woods’ private electronic Festival in Croatia. He’s passion for music incites him to play among the people, from whom – he says- he gets the inspiration for his new productions and in fact he is also often performing in a few bars in the area . In 2013 he comes out with his first release, New Philosophy Ep, on the emerging SlowPitch Recordings label , and the gigs’ horizon expands with dates in Conegliano, an appeareance at the ‘Tunel’ club in Rjieka (Croatia), Copenaghen (Distortion festival). After getting some years of pause from the dj scene, he restarts in the public scene in 2026 with a new artist name of Masio. He is currently living in Paris, France.
