TrueSelf Emerging from the renowned Atjazz Record Company, TrueSelf has carved a distinct place for himself within the electronic music scene. Introduced to electronic music at the age of seventeen, TrueSelf quickly found inspiration in pioneering labels such as Warp Records, Tru Thoughts, Ninja Tune, and Mo’Wax. What began as an after-hours passion for DJing and production soon developed into a lifelong pursuit of sound exploration and artistic expression. Throughout his career, TrueSelf has performed alongside some of the industry’s most respected names, gracing stages at iconic venues including Back to Basics at Stinky’s Peephouse, Stealth, The Rainbow, The Custard Factory, Ministry of Sound, Mint Club, and on the Mixmag Tour, as well as at international events. While his roots are deeply grounded in House music, TrueSelf’s creative approach defies boundaries. In both his productions and DJ sets, he blends the electronic with the organic — weaving together soulful guitar licks, analogue synths, and textured rhythms to create music that resonates with emotion and authenticity.
